The biggest ever Finnish tv-production outside of Finland is now in pre-production

Nelonen has just greenlighted a new docusoap "Travel Guides". The new daily stripped docusoap follows the lives travel guides on the Turkish riviera. Production will take place in Alanya from late August till early November and the production company is Susamuru. The show will air in 2010.

And yes - you read the headline right. This docusoap with 40 episodes is even bigger than the production of Robinson for the Finnish tv-industry. Robinson was a line production by Strix, so that was more than 50% Swedish :)

I fell in love with internet celebrity Sarah Austin today

OMG - Sarah Austin is something else. It would be so easy to just smile at this valley-girl-like livecasting genious, but watch out - I'm sure she is the next Oprah.

I tried to be all young&hip myself and livecast some of her presentation on QIK, but the quality is really sh&tty. Lets just let her talk about her social media takeover here for herself:

Who Thinks "Millionaire" Could Make a Huge Comeback as a Format?

There is some buzz created by Sony, yes, but really? We will see very soon.. the 2-week revival of Who Wants to be a Millionaire with Regis Philbin begins August 9, 2009 on ABC.

Finland's Current Top Model 2009

The winner of Finland's Next Top Model leaked out early. This is a major OOOOPS. The final episode airs tonight, but the sponsor BON AQUA is already congratulating the winner in an outdoor campaign.

Media's reaction is interesting. They have not made huge headlines about the winner in today's papers. On their websites they are warning their readers about the spoiler... Will this actually help the ratings tonight? I think so.
