Nelonen's news team hits social media in a new way

Our news anchors are now active in IRC GALLERIA (Finland's largest online community for young people). I love this project and it looks like so do the people online at Irc... Especially the daily online chat with the anchors has proved popular. Also interestingly boys seem to be interested in tv news more than the girls (60% of members are male).

I'm really looking forward to crowdsourcing as this is not just a promotional tool. It is a great way to find news stories and new ways to look at the news of the day. And most users of IRC have a lot of ideas - just go and have a look at the chats :)
