Yatta! Yatta! Miten näin suuri ilmiö löysi minut vasta nyt?

Nyt tuli siis vanha olo. Netissä ovat jo vuosia kiirineet Yatta-videot. Ja vasta nyt sattui silmiini suomalainenkin versio. Se on jonkun koulun joulujuhlasta 2008. Haluan mukaan tanssimaan Yattaa ja heti. Kerään joukkoja! Ymmärrän kyllä tämän olevan opiskelijoiden etuoikeus, mutta kai setäkin saa kokeilla?

Finland's Got Talent Season 2 is currently airing on Nelonen and yesterday's episode is causing a storm. Great ratings and one big guy with a huge voice. This clip is flying on Youtube like crazy. Could this be our local Susan?

The taste of my new potatoes

Simple things are making me happy now during vacation. I'm a Finn and I love my homegrown potatoes. Here in Finland we all just love our "new" potatoes (new meaning like beaujolais nuevo - the fresh potatoes of the season).



Here are pictures of my first new potatoes - I'm so proud of my amateur gardening skills! We enjoyed boiled potatoes just with lettuce and tomatoes from our garden and some smoked salmon (from Norway I must admit). I love the summer.

The best marketing campaign of the summer?

I sooo wanna fly Southwest now and this one is just a tip of the iceberg in the skies. Just search "Southwest flight attendants" on Youtube and there are so many videos... Why isn't Blue1 in Finland doing this, too? Could we do this, too, to market a tv-show? Or is it just flight attendants that are funny, sexy and interesting?
