Surreal, but true. I just watched the best Finnish talkshow Maria! live on screens in a bar in Alanya, Turkey. And I was so of proud - I felt like screaming "look look it is one of our shows on tv here " :)
Heikin baari is a Finnish bar in a tourist resort, so the place is more Finnish than any Finnish bar in Finland. Full of Finnish people singing karaoke and drinking Juhlamokka-coffee. And I'm here because we have just started production on the new docusoap Matkaoppaat.
Oh did someone mention rights issues? I'm sure the bar had not acquired any rights to pick up Nelonen's feed from the satellite, but hey - I don't really care, should I?
